SUMMARY:ARC Jam Session at 424 Lounge
DESCRIPTION:Selected Kansas City Area Youth Jazz Fellows (piano\, bass and drums) for one hour (3:00pm to 4:00pm) as Next Generation Staff at the ARC Jam Session at 424 Lounge in Leavenworth\, Kansas. This program is curated once a month between April and October each year by Artists Recording Collective label recording artists\, B.J. Jansen and Dr. Mike Pagan. This is an opportunity for next generation artists to perform and mentor less experienced jazz players in a community setting. The April session concurrently celebrates both International Jazz Day and Jazz Appreciation Month! #JAZZDAY \nARC’s B.J. Jansen (Bari sax) performing in concert with Duane Eubanks and Delfayo Marsalis\n  Note: This is a paid situation and all Youth Jazz clinicians are assigned accordingly by Mr. B.

DESCRIPTION:This is a private event where two selected Kansas City Area Youth Jazz Fellows Ensembles will provide two one hour sets each of music. Each individual artist will be paid our standard rate for the one hour of musical work. In booking these types of industry opportunities musicians are selected with the best interest of the clients and the program in mind. Please note that all paid performances are accepted and any musician assignments are made “as is“ at the sole discretion of Mr. Burnett\, the Artistic Director.
