I wanted to be sure that you and the Youth Jazz KC students all know that Grammy-nominated, Guggenheim Fellow jazz pianist Helen Sung’s only appearance in the Midwest is with Bach Aria Soloists and The Folly Jazz Series on April 5.

Bach Aria Soloists will give the world premiere of Helen Sung’s new composition synthesizing jazz and classical music, commissioned by Bach Aria Soloists, and performed with Helen, as well as an entire concert highlighting Helen’s improvisation on JS Bach-the OG jazz maestro-as well as popular jazz standards all in one program!
